And here it is my first venture into a Pesto other than straight up Basil!!!! As you can see, I did incorporate a little Basil in there — couldn’t go cold turkey! Wow!! I LOVE the flavor of this pesto!! It is a bit more bitter than my palate is accustomed to— but SO GOOD!! And good for you!
Recipe:
Handful of garlic mustard
Handful of dandelion leaves
Small Handful of Basil
5 cloves of garlic
1/2 cup of olive oil
1/3 cup of walnuts
1/3 cup of Reggiano cheese
Salt and pepper
Splash of lemon juice
